X-Spectrum, a spin-off from the Medipix Collaboration, develops and provides a fast, high-resolution X-ray camera for high-end research projects at advanced X-ray sources, enabled by the Medipix3 ASIC technology. X-Spectrum focusses on fddast (2000fps) cameras with a big area sensor (see picture). Sensors are available with three different types of detector layers (Silicon, GaAs, CdTe).
